You must first know your audience before you start your comprehensive plan. The plan format can be Web-based or print or both. Many municipalities produce digital plans to reduce printing costs. If you need to print, contact the county’s Department of Information Technology for print request quotation.

Consideration should be given to the purpose of the plan and size. It is important to keep it simple, but always include graphics, such as photos, maps and layouts. Visual presenations are essential to your comprehensive plan presention.
